About Gipsy

What can you learn with me?

Guitar fundamentals and correct playing technique with Rockschool Syllabus
Chords and chord changes
Strumming patterns and rhythm
Playing songs you actually enjoy
Understanding scales and the fretboard
Lead guitar and melody playing
Fingerstyle guitar
Improvisation and musical expression
Playing and singing with guitar
Basic music theory where it is useful
Developing timing, rhythm, and confidence
Moving from beginner playing towards more independent musicianship

I also demonstrate different guitar styles, including fingerstyle, lead playing, and flamenco-inspired techniques and improvisation.
Why learn with me?

Because I am not only a guitar teacher.

I am also a guitar maker and working musician. I build handcrafted acoustic guitars and understand the instrument from both the musical and practical side. This allows me to teach students not only how to play the guitar, but also how the instrument works, how to take care of it, and how to develop a better relationship with their instrument.

My lessons are personalized rather than following exactly the same routine for every student.

A complete beginner may start with posture, picking, basic chords, and simple songs, while a more experienced player may work on rhythm, fingerstyle, lead guitar, improvisation, technique, or musical expression.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel that they are actually progressing.

Whether your goal is simply to play your favorite songs, accompany yourself while singing, improve your technique, develop fingerstyle skills, explore lead guitar, or become a more confident musician, we can build the lessons around your goal.

My teaching philosophy

Learn Guitar with Honesty.

No unnecessary complexity.
No pretending that everyone learns at the same speed.
No one-size-fits-all lessons.

We work on the skills you genuinely need, practice them correctly, and build your ability step by step.

If you are serious about learning guitar—or simply want to finally start playing the instrument you have always wanted to learn—I would be happy to help you begin your musical journey.

About the lesson

Learn Guitar with Honesty – Learn to Play, Not Just Memorize

I believe learning guitar should be enjoyable, practical, and honest. You should not spend months simply memorizing exercises without understanding how to actually play music.

My teaching approach is built around one simple idea:

Learn the guitar step by step, understand what you are playing, and gradually become confident enough to play on your own.

I teach students from complete beginners to intermediate adding with Rockschool Syllabus and advanced levels, with lessons adapted to the student's age, ability, musical interests, and goals.
