About Ozi
I am a 2nd year student at CSU Long Beach studying music performance and music education. Just from my first year I have learned a lot about the professional world of music and I hope to prepare others for it as well. I have been accepted into multiple honor bands during jr high and high school, and throughout my high school career I have been placed in multiple ensembles simultaneously. I can also help many with audition anxiety since I have multiple first hand audition experiences. Thank you so much for your time and I hope I’m a good fit!

I will make sure to teach my students good practicing habits such as important warm-ups and exercises to improve their technical skill. I also love to teach the importance of music as an art and show them how to make each piece their own. Based on skill level I can help them through pieces they might be working on or present and suggest new pieces that would be fitting for them to practice. My goal be the end of each meeting is for my student to be more familiar with their instrument and their musical self.
