My name is Allison. I am a native American speaker. I have a Bachelors in Business Degree, a TESOL Certificate and an IELTS Specialist Certificate. I am also trained to teach the USA citizenship test.
I enjoy helping people learn and improve their English. I am seeking to utilize my ESL teaching skills to help students become confident communicators of the English language.

My lessons will help you speak, read and write American English with clarity and confidence. You will have specific exercises that concentrate on understanding and using the correct vowel sounds, problematic consonants such as V, W, L, TH, R, and T sounds. My lessons will help you learn at a pace that is comfortable for you so you feel confident when you speak. You will learn the correct sounds of all of the vowels and consonant of American English.

The business English classes will be fun and engaging with lots of opportunities for the student to speak.

For conversation classes, we will practice speaking about interesting topics with dialogue scripts and various role plays that will improve your vocabulary, fluency, and confidence. I correct your mistakes and suggest phrases and vocabulary that are commonly used in America.
