I am from Costa Rica, located in Central America. I love teaching and spending significant time with my students while I teach. I have worked with students from more than 20 countries from 5 different continents of the world. Teaching is an art that we develop with our students while we study with them!

As a tutor, I believe in the power of cooperative learning and intrinsic motivation to drive student success. My approach centers around creating a collaborative environment where students work together, share ideas, and support each other’s learning journeys.
Teaching Method and Techniques
I utilize various teaching techniques such as group discussions, peer teaching, and project-based learning. By encouraging students to engage with their peers, they not only reinforce their understanding but also develop essential social skills. I also incorporate real-world examples and hands-on activities to help students connect their learning to their interests, enhancing intrinsic motivation.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson plan starts with a warm-up activity that stimulates curiosity and sets the stage for the topic. Following that, I present the lesson content, often using interactive presentations or videos. Next, students work individually or in small groups to discuss the material and complete a collaborative project or problem-solving task. The lesson concludes with a debriefing session where groups share their findings, allowing for reflection and deeper understanding. We always find time to enjoy and have fun!
