About Toshi

What I value in my classes is that I believe it's more important to learn from real-life situations where you use the language than to "study all of Japanese." I myself studied in Australia for over a year and learned English from scratch. Because I experienced the frustration of not being able to find the right words and the anxiety of speaking a foreign language, I understand the feelings of learners and strive to provide personalized coaching. Accumulating small successes leads to true confidence.

About the lesson

I am your Japanese language partner who values "having fun and talking a lot" and "continuing to learn while having fun." In my classes, let's learn natural Japanese by talking a lot in a relaxed atmosphere, like talking with a friend. I enjoy traveling abroad and meeting people and experiencing cultures from all over the world, so I would be happy to talk about your country's culture during the lessons. For beginners: Everyone starts from zero. It's okay, let's have fun. For intermediate and advanced learners: Let's learn "living Japanese" that you can't learn from textbooks, such as expressions commonly used by native speakers, everyday conversation, slang, idioms, and natural expressions. Business and customer service Japanese I run restaurants and construction businesses in Tokyo, and I have also worked with technical trainees from Southeast Asia in my own company.
