About Madison

My name is Madison, and I am here to help individuals learn math in a way that encourages them in a safe environment. My favorite story to tell is when I was in high school, and I nearly failed math. I always told myself that I was not a "math person" until I learned the strategies that were right for me. Once I grew into my potential, I went on to study (and still am studying) mathematics in college while teaching it to both general and special education students. Learning is certainly not linear and finding those specific, personal traits is what can either make or break the learning process. Everyone is capable of doing good math with the right techniques, and it would be my honor to assist you or your child in finding them!

If you're looking for an upbeat and passionate tutor, then you are in the right place! With a background in teaching mathematics to both general and special education, I have many different techniques that I have learned along the way to ensure that my teaching process is not only effective, but also fun. One of my favorite methods to teaching mathematics is by incorporating games and manipulatives for a more hands-on approach. Couple those with repetition and the math comes easily! I look forward to helping you or your child grow into their potential!
