About Claudia

I am a Software Engineer with 3 years of professional industry programming knowledge.
I have been programming for 6 years and been teaching math for 9 years.
I decided to further my SOEN knowledge by pursing a Masters’ Degree in User Experience to expand my technical skills into research ones.
I love tutoring the subjects I love most which are Computer Science and Mathematics courses and have been a tutor since 2012.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is very simple. I believe that visual learning using a virtual platform such as drawing out steps when explaining a solution can really help a student. I use virtual drawing tools as visuals to ensure that the student fully grasps what is being taught. Various examples are used to engage the students and make them understand what occurs in a certain program.
Going step by step is key so the student can grasp the concepts easily. I create notes for the student with key takeaways and tips to look out for from each lesson which is shared with them afterwards.
