I use a lot of demonstrative approach way of teaching, I engage in a learning task more than just talking about it. This is coupled with Constructivism learning whereby learners create their own understanding of the world around them, and this understanding is based on experience through their everyday lives as they grow. This approach is handy for allowing learners to take a more active role in the learning process, as it encourages them to use their previous knowledge as a foundation for understanding new concepts, as opposed to passively receiving information.
