About the lesson

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
About 2 years ago, I received an email in my inbox asking for a Power BI tutor. I first ignored it, then later that day, I thought wait, probably should give this a shot. So I went for the interview and go selected. Prepared earnestly for the first class and stood before the students to walk them through the syllabus. What I soon realized is that I had a knack of visualizing concepts and then telling them as a story to students. The students loved it so much that they took my out for a treat at the end of the batch. Since I felt that I can contribute this way I continued to develop an interest for the field.
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Power BI is an interesting data visualization tool that does not require advanced knowledge to learn. It is very exciting to see students perform and execute great data analysis work just by learning the basic concepts of Power BI. What it requires is to learn the fundamentals the right way. There are always new things to learn in it and also excited about the new AI updates that are coming soon.
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
The best thing I like about tutoring is viewing how different people can take different perspectives and learn the same concepts in a different way. The journey is very beautiful as you help them start learn the tool, explore with them, getting surprised with different and brilliant answers and watch them build their knowledge. And soon after, in the journey, become good friends for a long time.

Teachers play a very important role during the early learning years. I would like to thank my audio science teacher, Mr. Jerry Emmanuel, who taught things with so much passion that developed a deep interest in the topic and would love to imitate a few things from him as well.
