About Anika
Hi! I'm Anika and I provide learning support and homework help to elementary and middle school students, including those with special needs. I've worked as a tutor and caretaker for children with special needs in Serbia and America, and I've taught elementary and middle school students in various subjects.
Being fluent in English and Croatian, I can help students understand the material in both languages, which is especially helpful for children who encounter a bilingual environment. I love science and math and often include practical and fun examples from these fields to make learning interesting and stimulating.
My approach is based on understanding the individual needs of each student. I like to combine different methods – conversation, visual materials and practical examples – to make learning interesting, effective and adapted to the student's age and abilities.
The classes I offer can be live in Split or online, by arrangement, and my goal is not only to help students learn the material, but also to develop confidence and motivation for learning.

My approach to learning is based on understanding the individual needs of each student. I strive to create a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere so that students develop confidence and motivation to learn.
During class, I combine different methods – conversation, visual materials, and practical examples – depending on the topic and the age of the students.
My classes usually last 60 minutes and include a review of the material, explanation of unclear parts, and short exercises.
I work with elementary and early secondary school students, including students with special needs, and offer live classes in Split or online, by appointment.
