About Jacob
I have a BA in chemistry, and graduated in 2015. I helped tutor friends in organic chemistry during my last year, and greatly enjoyed helping them understand the material.
I also was involved in chemistry laboratory research for a total of 3 years.

I approached studying organic chemistry by understanding basic topics extremely well, and building my knowledge of the material off of those simple ideas, in order to think through any given problem; this is how I prefer to teach, as it provides the tools you need to tackle any chemistry situation you’re faced with. This approach is in opposition to the simple “rote memorization” technique.
