About Charnia
Sometimes I admit that my own path was shaped more by late nights figuring out riffs than by formal theory drills. I hold a degree from Belmont University and have taught 287 individuals over 6 years. Teaching allows me to share the joy of oral tradition where we learn by listening and mimicking.
I focus on electric technique and chord transitions while weaving in the theory behind the music. It is a strange feeling to explain a power chord concept that once took me months to grasp. Progress starts with a plan. I conduct a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan for any student.
We explore scales and modes alongside maintenance and tuning to ensure you have a complete skill set. My degree provides a solid framework for adults and performance-focused learners needing depth. I balance technical exercises with lead guitar work to keep the sessions feeling fresh. Every lesson addresses your specific growth areas through direct, clear feedback on your playing.
