About Valerie
Intermediate singers and exam candidates often face unique plateaus in their development. I provide a space where technique meets artistic expression for adults and teens. My work as a music educator, supported by an MA from McGill and CELTA, allows me to bridge the gap between vocal health and performance. Having guided 442 students, I understand the challenges of vocal range extension and finding one's authentic tone.
We will address belting technique, vibrato control, and head or chest voice mechanics systematically. My journey started with a deep curiosity about how we use our bodies as instruments. I keep a personalized song list for each student to ensure our repertoire matches your specific range. Helping you find your voice is a privilege.

Great singing is not about forcing the sound out of your throat. We prioritize vocal health and care to ensure longevity. Pitch control requires patience. Diction and articulation become natural with practice.
Genre styling connects your voice to the music. Microphone technique is essential for stage presence. My 13 years of experience guide our work on exams.
I use my MA Music Education background to structure your growth. You will gain confidence through consistent, technical exercises. See your progress flourish in every session.
