"Acoustic accompaniment skills and ear training are the areas I focus on most. I honestly find that sight transposition is the skill people neglect the most.
With 13 years of experience and 426 students taught, I have developed a clear process for teaching. My Berklee piano degree helps me explain complex dynamics and expression in simple terms. I am patient with every student. I make sure you get the results you want."

"Actually, I think the most fun happens when we get into the flow of playing. Before we set a learning plan, we complete a diagnostic playing assessment to see where you stand. Grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity requires steady dedication to scales and arpeggios. Kids and adults alike often struggle with memorization techniques, but we break those down into small pieces.
I teach you to handle the KEYS with confidence. We focus on the MUSIC first and foremost. My goal is to get you comfortable with the jazz standards style. I hope to see you at the bench soon."
