About Kimberly
Sometimes I still get a little nervous before hitting the stage despite 13 years of performing in Nashville and Austin. My experience spans 282 students who have trusted me to refine their voices and build their confidence.
I spent years in the trenches of the music scene learning exactly what it takes to survive a live set. My lessons often bridge the gap between casual singing and professional stage presence for adults and children alike.
Working with students has taught me that everyone has a unique voice waiting to be found. I have guided 282 people through the complexities of harmony and performance anxiety. Honestly, the first time you record yourself, you might feel a bit awkward listening back to your own voice. We spend our time together reviewing those monthly performance recordings to track your development and sharpen your phrasing. This practice creates a safe space for us to address stage fear and refine your breathing control in real time. We explore the nuances of diction and articulation alongside the mechanical requirements of microphone technique.
Drawing on my 13 years of playing, I guide you through harmony singing and rhythm to ensure you feel secure on stage. My approach keeps the focus on your personal growth through consistent, honest feedback. You can expect a supportive environment where we build your voice through steady, song-based practice.
