About Thomas
I’m 29 years old and a dad of two (4 and 1), so I understand the importance of patience, clear communication, and creating a supportive learning environment.
I graduated in 2013 and have always had a strong interest in math and science. In school, I was introduced to Year 12 math content as early as Year 8 and went on to perform near the top of my class in physics.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve also spent a lot of time studying psychology and philosophy in my own time. This has given me a deeper understanding of how people think, learn, and process information — which I bring into my teaching style.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn, and I genuinely like seeing that moment where something finally clicks. I keep things relaxed and easy to follow so it doesn’t feel like a typical classroom setting.
My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but actually understand what they’re learning in a way that sticks long term — while keeping them engaged and interested along the way.

I keep my lessons relaxed, supportive, and easy to follow. My goal is to make things actually make sense, not just feel like memorizing steps. I usually start by figuring out how the student learns best, then break topics down into simple pieces and build them back up from there.
I’m very patient and don’t mind going over things multiple times in different ways until it clicks. Whether you learn best by watching, doing, or talking it through, I’ll adjust the lesson to suit you. If there’s a specific method you’ve been taught at school, I can stick to that too.
Lessons usually run for 1–2 hours, with a short break if needed to keep focus up.
I’ve worked with both primary and high school students in math, with consistently strong feedback. My focus is on making concepts clear and easy to understand, which helps students build confidence and improve quickly — not just in one topic, but overall.
I teach students aged 10–17, covering math (up to pre-university level), physics, general science, psychology, philosophy, and social sciences.
