About Katherine
Hi! I’m a mom and early childhood educator with 10 years of classroom experience and a passion for helping children ages 3–7 blossom. My teaching is guided by creativity, empathy, and individuality, and my goal is ultimately to help each child find their confidence, curiosity, and love for learning. I greatly value partnership with families, keeping parents involved and updated so we can celebrate progress together. My goal for our collaborative classroom is to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where children feel seen, valued, and empowered to explore and grow.

I am a patient, creative, and adaptable teacher with 10 years of experience in early childhood classrooms and ongoing annual training in child development and special education, including my degree work for my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I draw from Montessori, Waldorf, Nature-Based, Play-Based, and Reggio Emilia philosophies to make learning fun, meaningful, and memorable.
Each lesson is customized to your child’s interests, pace, and learning style, blending hands-on activities, storytelling, creative projects, and social-emotional development. The first lesson is all about getting to know your child—what may look like play is actually an opportunity for me to observe strengths, interests, and areas for growth.
I teach children ages 3–7, including preschoolers and early elementary schoolers - helping them ask questions, explore, and build confidence in a playful, supportive environment. My goal is for every child to leave lessons with a love for learning and the confidence to be themselves.

In addition to my hourly fee, I charge $5 per hour to cover costs for my online classroom space and any materials I may buy in order to better assist my clients' learning process.
