Hello! My name is Laura. I am a bilingual teacher with 3 years of teaching experience plus one full year of student teaching. I specialize in beginner-level English and Spanish, teaching foundational skills such as the alphabet, letter sounds, blending sounds to form words, building simple sentences and early reading. My teaching method is phonics-based, patient, and creative. I combine repetition, and visual learning. My approach helps students understand language through activities like flash cards, games, drawings, music and craft projects that make each concept memorable. My calm supportive teaching style and my ability to make learning enjoyable for beginners of all ages. My lessons are perfect for young children at a Kindergarten-2nd grade level learning English or Spanish or just needing extra help as well as older kids, teens, or adults. Me especializo en inglés y español para principiantes, enseñando habilidades fundamentales como el alfabeto, los sonidos de las letras, la combinación de sonidos para formar palabras, la construcción de oraciones simples y la lectura temprana. Mi método de enseñanza se basa en la fonética, es paciente y creativo. Combino la repetición y el aprendizaje visual.
