About Linda
Over the course of my life I have worked in a variety of situations and environments, professionally and as a volunteer. I understand that everyone has many demands on their time and energy and will do my best to accommodate my students' schedules. We can hold classes online, over the phone, in a public place such as the library or at your home, whatever you are most comfortable with.
I have a Master's Degree from Western New Mexico University is in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Counseling and a minor in Art.

I have volunteered with Project Learn in Cleveland, OH as a literacy tutor and with Vietnamese and Cambodian families teaching basic and conversational English skills. I also worked with clients in Seoul, South Korea via telephone and the internet
working on English conversational skills and reading comprehension. I work with my students to determine their current skill levels and set goals for improvement. We use current events articles or stories, discussion and written assignments that relate to the student's interests to keep them engaged and meet their objectives.
