About Angelina

I am a Henderson local, born and raised, and a proud graduate of Coronado and Nevada State High School! I have loved STEM since I was a little girl, and nothing makes me happier than teaching and inspiring the future generations of problem-solvers. Growing up, I learned exactly how to master time management by balancing high-level extracurriculars like volleyball with my schoolwork and excelling in both—a skill that eventually led me to graduate Magna Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering while playing Division I volleyball.

Managing a heavy 16-credit engineering load alongside a 40-hour weekly athletic schedule taught me an elite level of discipline that I love passing on to my students. Between my time as a university Thermodynamics TA and leading engineering design teams, I have mastered the art of taking intimidating math and science concepts and making them actually click. I am so excited to help students in my hometown build the confidence, grit, and study habits they need to crush their goals and love STEM just as much as I do!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to meet the unique needs of every age group, ensuring that concepts click whether a student is just starting out or tackling advanced university coursework. For elementary and middle school students, I focus on building a strong, stress-free foundation in math and science using visual problem-solving and encouraging feedback to boost their academic confidence. When working with high schoolers, I draw on the intense discipline and time-management skills I developed as a Division I student-athlete to help them conquer demanding subjects like calculus, physics, and chemistry, while teaching them how to study efficiently and balance heavy schedules. For college students and adult learners, my approach mirrors my professional role as a university Teaching Assistant for Thermodynamics. At this level, the sessions are fast-paced, highly targeted, and focused on breaking down complex engineering principles, advanced mathematics, and technical software like MATLAB and CAD into manageable, logical steps. Regardless of age, I provide precise, constructive feedback and practical organizational strategies that transform confusion into mastery, empowering every student to approach their next big exam or assignment with total confidence.
