About Atmodeep

Hey learner ! My name is Atmodeep (yes, I know it's a difficult name!)
Here's a lil bit about me and why you'd wanna learn from me :)

I am a Classically trained vocalist specializing and learning Hindustani Classical since the past 16 years. I have completed my Visharad from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and am currently imprinting my footsteps as a playback and performing artist, a singer songwriter and a teacher.
I have been fortunate enough to have worked with esteemed artists like Ehsaan Noorani sir, and to be blessed with musical knowledge and guidance by the legend Pdt. Ajoy Chakraborty Ji and Pdt Birju Maharaj Ji.

I started my journey as a singer when I was 6 years old, and have been on the path of learning about this magical world ever since.

I was always keen on spreading and instilling the knowledge I have into people who have the same passion as I do, who have that zeal, to be one with music and create an impact on the world with their voices and their stories.
Which is the reason , that for the past 5+ years, I have been successfully teaching Hindustani Classical, Semi-Classical and Bollywood vocals to aspiring students.

Having taught more than 500 students in this span with students ranging from little toddlers to experienced elders. The one thing that still drives me daily, is the smile and the satisfaction students have when they finally learn what they always have wanted to.

About the lesson

Here's how you'll be learning in my class:

- Without a proper base, your musical monument would fall. Thus, You are gonna start with knowing the basics and strengthening your roots in my class. (May vary acc. to the level of the user)

I am serious when it comes to music, but I also have fun while doing it, and that's how I teach! With me, you'll start to notice music all around you and implement the concepts that you learn in a more practical manner

General Structure of the class:
- Each class would be 1.5 hrs long: 1 hr of teaching(having fun) and 30 mins of doubt clearing. One class per week.

-Regular practical and theory based tests at the end of each month.

-The structure, timing or duration can be altered as per the user's needs.

What more, you ask?
You are not only gonna learn how to sing, but also, how to perform!
Learning instruments like the guitar or the piano, is essential to be a complete performer. Trust me, you are gonna turn into one in no time.

- Age is just a number, anyone with a will and a way can join!
