At the beginning, there is a brief review of the previous material in every class. After the short review, the instructor introduces new topics and explains them clearly, followed by guided practice. I emphasize the building of a strong conceptual foundation and developing critical problem-solving skills so that my students understand really the 'why' behind a concept.
