My Lessons:
First few minutes: A warm-up game to enlighten the child's mood
After that: We will focus on Math problems the student needs help understanding and it will be in a fun way that the student doesn't get bored. Whenever the student needs a break, I will allow it.
End of class: Finish off with a cooldown game, it can be math related sometimes.
Occasionally: Pop quiz to help boost the student's confidence, with discussion about the questions that the student can't do later.
Focus: Addition, subtraction, shapes, basic problem-solving and times tables.
Style: Patient, encouraging, and tailored to each child's learning pace.
Location: Online (via Zoom/Skype).
