About Rolan
I am an undergraduate student at Imperial College London with a strong interest in teaching. I am friendly and easy-going in my interactions, yet firm and structured when it comes to academic expectations. I enjoy teaching because I like engaging with people, understanding how different students think, and finding approaches that work best for each individual. Seeing students make progress and grow in confidence is deeply rewarding. I aim to create a supportive, organised, and motivating environment for every learner, and look forward to helping students navigate their IGCSE and A-Level studies.

I offer structured and engaging Mathematics and Physics lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students. My teaching approach combines clear conceptual explanations with integrated practice and regular homework to consolidate understanding. Lessons typically last 1–2 hours and are tailored to each student’s needs. I have previously taught learners aged 12 to 17 across Maths, Further Pure Maths, English, and Physics for multiple academic terms. Having achieved 10 As at IGCSE and AA*AA at A-Level, I am thoroughly familiar with the syllabus requirements and examination style, having completed these assessments myself to a high standard. I bring strong subject knowledge and a supportive, organised teaching style designed to build confidence and long-term mastery.
