About Lyan

About me: My name is Layan, and I am currently a Grade 11 A-Level Student. I completed my O-Levels last year with 7A*s, and I am proud to be a consistent high achiever who truly enjoys learning. From a young age, I have loved both studying and teaching. I often help my classmate by explaining lessons, sharing detailed notes and summaries, and guiding them through difficult topics. This experience has shown me that I have a natural ability to teach and a genuine passion for helping others understand. I want to teach because I know how it feels to struggle with certain subjects-and I also know how valuable it is to have someone patient and supportive by your side. My goal is to make learning easier, less stressful, and even more enjoyable for my students. Teaching is more than just explaining a subject to me-it is about building confidence, showing the right strategies, and encouraging students to believe in themselves. I also want to prove that age isn't a limit; even as a young teacher, I bring fresh energy, creativity, and modern study techniques that truly connect with students. Above all, I want to teach because I love education. It motivates me to share my knowledge, inspire others, and grow alongside my dear students.

About the lesson

As a high-achieving student with 7A*s at O-Level and currently excelling in my A-Levels, I bring both academic and a deep understanding of how to study effectively. My top results include 195/200 in Mathematics and 190/200 in Chemistry, which reflect not only strong subject knowledge but also disciplined exam strategies. I design my own lessons to be clear, structured, and personalized. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple explanations, using real examples, and providing concise notes (that made me ace my O-Levels!) that help with quick revision. I strongly believe in an interactive approach, where students are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems step by step, and gain confidence in their abilities. Being a student one day, and trying to understand the subjects being taught at school, I understand the challenges students face and the strategies needed to overcome them. Whether you need help mastering difficult topics, preparing exams, or improving study techniques, I will support you with patience, encouragement, and proven methods that helped me achieve top results. My goal is not just to make you learn, but to help you excel and reach your full potential. You can do it!
