About Allegra

I live for that 'lightbulb' moment when I know that a student finally understands a tricky concept or problem. I am passionate about learning and have the patience to explain and break down challenging topics into manageable pieces. I have a current WWC and three years of tutoring experience with both primary and secondary aged students. I also take pride in my ability to adapt my teaching techniques and pacing to the student. Whether you're struggling, wanting a head start and some extra consolidation, or looking to be extended, I am the tutor for you.

About the lesson

I have been tutoring students for 3 years now (2 years volunteering and one year professionally) and have had over 20 students so far, many of whom were in year 12 and have now gotten into their desired courses. I pride myself on taking the time to make sure my students grasp tricky concepts and am able to come up with fun and creative ways to explain things when the orthodox way is not getting through to my students. Happy to do extension or remedial work for years 2-10. Lessons are typically an hour but this can be flexible.
