The difference between a student who ENJOYS maths and one who DREADS it completely, isn't ability - it's having someone who explains it in a way that MAKES SENSE!

Hi, I'm Varun! I'm a passionate maths tutor and what I find most rewarding is helping students experience that "I finally got it!" moment. I know asking for help can be intimidating, hence why I create a supportive environment where students ask questions freely, learn efficiently without pressure and build real confidence.

My goal isn't JUST higher marks but helping students build long-term confidence and real understanding to succeed!

About the lesson

All lessons are conducted via Zoom, with a fixed meeting link and calendar reminders. Sessions are supported with interactive online whiteboard, allowing step-by-step explanation and clear visual learning.

All lessons are aligned with the Victorian Curriculum (F-10 and VCE) ensuring students learning content is directly relevant.
I tutor Year 7-10 Mathematics, Pre-VCE Methods, Year 4-6 Mathematics.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
Each lesson is fully tailored to the student's needs:
- Staying ahead of classroom learning and upcoming topics
- Strengthen core understanding and close knowledge gaps.
- Master advanced application and exam-style questions.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟭-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁
Lessons are mainly designed in focussed 1-hour sessions to maximise learning efficiency without burnout. 1.5hr lessons are also available.
Each class is structured around:
- Progress and Homework Review: Review assigned work, identify mistakes and strengthen understanding.
- Concept Teaching: Breaking down new or difficult topics in class.
- Application Practice: Tackling challenging "separator" questions under guided or exam-style conditions.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽
To ensure consistent improvement and exam readiness, students receive:
- Homework after every lesson, designed to reinforce learning and track progress
- Topic-based practice tests to consolidate understanding
- Full mock exams to simulate timed, exam-style conditions
- Ongoing feedback to identify gaps and improve performance.

Payment Reminders are sent via SMS or WhatsApp to parent/guardian.

All lessons must be paid at least 24 hours before the scheduled sessions.
1 Hour - $30
1.5 Hour - $45

Please provide at least 24 hours notice in advance for cancellation or rescheduling sessions too :)
Tuition reminders and updates (homework, upcoming tests and feedback) are communicated regularly via email.
