About Harvey
With 12 years of experience as a violin tutor, I am dedicated to inspiring students through quality music education. I teach high school students, college students, and elderly learners, helping them develop their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully taught around 150-200 students and guided them in improving their violin abilities, confidence, and musical expression. I believe every student learns differently, and I adapt my lessons according to their goals and learning pace.
My teaching approach combines strong fundamentals, practical exercises, and creative learning techniques. I focus on helping students understand the instrument while enjoying the process of making music.
My lessons include violin techniques, rhythm development, music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation. I also help students build effective practice habits for continuous improvement.
A significant achievement in my career has been helping learners overcome challenges and reach new levels in their musical journey. Seeing their dedication and success gives me great satisfaction.
I am passionate about creating meaningful lessons that encourage students to grow, explore, and achieve their musical dreams.

Learning the violin requires patience and dedication, and my teaching approach supports students every step of the way. Communication helps students understand techniques clearly, while accountability encourages regular practice and continuous improvement.
Integrity allows me to build trust by providing honest guidance and respectful support. Lessons include posture, bowing, finger coordination, scales, rhythm, tone production, and expressive performance.
Besides violin, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm development, performance preparation, beginner keyboard skills, and music appreciation.
