About Emily
I am an experienced athlete with my main involvement in rugby. I believe a healthy lifestyle with physical activity promotes individual success and improves mental health. To encourage such lifestyle, I am a qualified Personal Trainer. My experience as a PT has enabled me to research human physiology in greater detail, and work 1-1 with clients to achieve goals. I intend to apply my PT experience to work more effectively with students, so that they can reach their academic goals.

My passion for sport and biology is evident in my teaching. I am excited to help students with areas they struggle with or even just refreshing topics. I aim to provide students with a comfortable environment to learn and progress.
I will tailor my lessons to the needs of the student and specific to their specification and exam board. Having recently sat my A levels, I understand the confusing times for students taking exams; with this more relevant experience I am able to provide more effective teaching and address concerns regarding exams post COVID-19.
I received A Levels in Biology, Physical Education and Economics, having got AAB. I am comfortable in all areas of Biology and PE.
