My lessons usually begin with a quick - concise lecture, followed by a few easy quick questions.
I solve easy and intermediate level questions by explaining myself first and then I want my student to solve similar questions by explaining them. I look at the most difficult questions and make a final reinforcement. I give my student a question homework until the next lesson. The Homeworks are not overly burdensome, but it can be repeated frequently.
The number of questions in mathematics and biology, explaining lectures in physics, and repetition in chemistry is giving weight. The 1 hour class hour is generally highly motivated.
