About Kristy
I am a passionate educator dedicated to helping students grow in confidence, curiosity, and academic success. I attended Fordham University, where I completed my degree in just three years, and later earned a 4.0 GPA in graduate school. I have also published independent research, reflecting my commitment to scholarship and lifelong learning.
For the past several years, I have taught middle and high school students, developing a reputation for warm, engaging, and results-driven instruction. I was honored to receive Teacher of the Year in 2025 and am on track to receive the distinction again this year. Above all, my true passion is teaching—helping students discover their potential and achieve more than they thought possible.

I work with students from 9th grade through undergraduate study, helping them build both skills and confidence. My tutoring style is warm, encouraging, and supportive, so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. In a typical lesson, we use collaborative drawing, interactive problem-solving, and active discussion to make concepts clear and engaging. I break difficult material into manageable steps, ease test anxiety, and teach strategies that lead to strong understanding and excellent exam results. My goal is for every student to leave feeling capable, motivated, and ready to succeed.
