Rebecca was my Freshman Science teacher is high school. Not only did I learn so much in her class, it was actually really fun. I have taken other Science classes since, both in high school and in college, but the lessons I learned in her class have remained freshest in my mind. I'm actually really grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from her. I highly recommend her!

I have known Ms. Veilleux for many years as we both worked together at Lawrence high school and shared the same students. Ms. Veilleux is a well respected and well-liked Biology teacher who has earned the respect of both her students and staff. As a Guidance Counselor, I was always touched at the way she worked with ALL students regardless of learning challenges or behaviors and was always willing to work with any student that came her way. Students seem to connect to her and she was truly committed to making sure her students understood her lessons, often modifying them for the various types of learners. She is experienced, compassionate, caring and excited about teaching. I would often find Ms. Veilleux working through her lunch or prepping for labs or telling me about some new ideas she had to help the struggling students in her class. She is truly a wonderful teacher who goes above and beyond to ensure success for all her students!
She is also very sweet, funny and down to earth.

Rebecca is one of those teachers who will do everything for the students. The staff from SSU Upward Bound have known Rebecca for years.
