With over 20 years of teaching experience, I bring a high level of professionalism, dedication, and proven expertise to every lesson. I am committed to creating a structured, respectful, and supportive learning environment where each student feels confident, motivated, and capable of achieving their best. My approach is reliable and results-focused, ensuring consistent progress and measurable improvement.

I hold multiple qualifications, including a BA in Theology and Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), a BEd Honors degree in Education, and a BTh Honors degree in Theology. This strong academic foundation, combined with years of practical classroom experience, enables me to support learners effectively across different levels and learning needs.

Parents and students can trust that my lessons are well-prepared, engaging, and tailored to individual goals. I prioritize clear communication, accountability, and continuous feedback, helping learners not only improve academically but also grow in confidence, discipline, and overall learning ability.

About the lesson

I offer personalized, results-driven tutoring tailored to each learner’s unique needs, strengths, and learning style. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I combine strong academic structure with creative, engaging methods that help learners truly understand their work—not just memorize it. My approach focuses on building confidence, improving skills, and developing independent thinking.

I am fully proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can teach comfortably in either language. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and well-structured, ensuring that each session is clear, focused, and productive. Learners can expect guided explanations, practical examples, and opportunities to apply what they’ve learned, along with constructive feedback to help them improve continuously.

My lessons are ideal for learners in Grades 4–12, particularly those who need support in Afrikaans FAL, as well as learners in the Intermediate Phase who require help across subjects. Whether a learner needs to catch up, improve performance, or excel academically, my goal is to help them reach their full potential in a positive and encouraging environment.
