About Maggie
I am the type of teacher who believes daily affirmations are a great way to trick your brain. If you tell yourself something like "I am smart and French isn't going to beat me," eventually your brain believes it. And that's when you learn. If you tell yourself you can't do this, then you will keep struggling. You are the key to your success. I know how corny it sounds. I lived in France as an English assistant and have gotten to study in Belgium, so I stay up to date as much as I can. I'm more than happy to tell you how you can do it too!

I am all about you and understand your struggles. I FAILED French the first time I took it. What kind of teacher tells you that?! My brain worked on it without me even knowing it, and then next year, it clicked. I know that you don't understand the language, so I will try my best to explain things in a way you can "get it", comparing it to what you know about English. I can give you a lot of tips to practice what you are working on.
