About Ryder

Hi, I’m Ryder! I’m someone who enjoys staying active, being involved in sports and fitness, and helping others reach their goals. I’ve always liked being able to encourage people and help them feel more confident, which is one of the reasons tutoring is something I enjoy.

As a student, I understand that school can sometimes feel stressful or overwhelming, especially when a subject does not make sense right away. I want my students to know that it is okay to ask questions and take their time. I try to create a comfortable and positive environment where students can learn without feeling judged or pressured.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Ryder! I tutor students from elementary school through high school in multiple subjects. I like to keep my lessons organized, encouraging, and easy to follow so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My teaching style is all about breaking things down into simple steps and finding explanations that make sense for each student. If something is confusing the first time, that’s okay — I’m happy to explain it in a different way and work through examples together until it clicks.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review, then we work on the main topic together. I’ll explain the material, go through practice problems or examples, and give the student a chance to try things on their own. I also make time for homework help, test preparation, and any areas where the student feels they need extra support.

What sets me apart is that I want students to feel confident, not stressed, while they learn. My goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where students can improve their skills, ask questions freely, and feel proud of their progress.

My lessons are a great fit for elementary, middle school, and high school students who want extra help with schoolwork, studying, tests, or understanding difficult topics.
