About Charlie
I am a high school graduate from Lower Canada College and currently studying Commerce at Dawson College. I bring both academic dedication and hands-on experience working with children, having spent the summer as a counselor at Camp Lumi. This role helped me develop patience, leadership, and communication skills that I now apply as a tutor. I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. My goal is to help students succeed not only by improving their math skills but also by developing a positive attitude toward learning.

I make math simple and engaging by breaking concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations and using real-life examples that students can relate to. A typical lesson starts with reviewing key ideas, then practicing problems together, followed by independent exercises to build confidence. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and needs, making sure they understand the “why” behind the math, not just the “how.” My sessions are designed for elementary and middle school students who want to strengthen their foundation, prepare for tests, or simply feel more confident in class. What sets me apart is my patience, positivity, and ability to explain concepts in multiple ways until they click.
