I’m a high school graduate with a 4.0 GPA and 4 years of tutoring experience in Math and English. I know that learning can feel frustrating sometimes, so I try to make my lessons comfortable, supportive, and easy to follow. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to help them actually understand the material and feel more confident in school.
My teaching style is very patient and step-by-step. I like to explain things in simple ways, use examples students can relate to, and go at a pace that works best for them. I always encourage questions because I want students to feel comfortable speaking up if they’re confused about something.
A typical lesson usually starts with reviewing homework, classwork, or any topics the student is struggling with. Then we work through problems together, practice new skills, and review important concepts before ending the session. I also give study tips and strategies that can help students improve outside of tutoring sessions too.
What makes me different as a tutor is that I genuinely care about helping students succeed and feel more confident in themselves. Since I recently graduated high school myself, I understand what students are dealing with academically and how stressful school can sometimes feel. I try to keep lessons positive, motivating, and stress-free while still helping students improve.
My lessons are best for elementary, middle school, and high school students who need help with Math or English, whether it’s homework help, test prep, improving grades, writing, reading comprehension, algebra, or just building stronger study habits overall.
