About Jessi
I am fluent in conversational Mandarin Chinese, as well as English. I love to sing and play video games in my free time. I also fence, and I won second place in State Championships in my senior year of high school! I was team captain of the fencing team as well, so I know how to interact with all age ranges and help make a connection with the student so our lessons can go as smoothly and productively as possible.

When tutoring others in math, I tend to focus on increasing the student's confidence in their own skills, rather than simply having them memorize a formula. I try to teach the skills needed to succeed, while also making the material fun and interactive for the student. I also have experience communicating with faculty and parents when issues arise. I am willing to tutor any age range in mathematic levels below Calculus.
