About Joseph
I am one of 7 kids, so getting along with people has never really been an issue. I love music and perform in a jazz band frequently. I tutored at my school for a while and wanted to go larger scale since I enjoyed it so much so I came here. I also love sports like pickleball, football and basketball.

Teaching by learning about the students and using easy methods fit for each student separately by not only having them remember the topic, but also an understanding of the concept as well. Most lessons start with attempts at their current level for me to understand where exactly they are struggling and finding a way that's easy for the student to connect what they don’t know to what they don’t have just yet. This ensures that students won't feel overwhelmed with what they are missing and can build up step by step allowing for efficient and permanent improvement in each subject. What sets me apart from other tutors is my passion and attention to detail in tutoring. My goal is to become a teacher later in life and to me this is a huge step on that road to educating others. Lessons are for Math: algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and Pre-calc. Science: earth science, physics 101 and 201, and chemistry. English: literature and comprehension up to 11th grade, Social Studies: global history, and US History.
