About Alice
I am a graduate student from the Liceo Economico Sociale and I'm attending Gastronomic Sciences and Cultures at the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo. I give tutoring and private lessons to middle and high school students from the end of the last year of high school, but I make myself available for children and teenagers of all ages. I am passionate about passing on my knowledge and dedication for studying to others. I also had the opportunity to teach students with specific learning disabilities (SLD), modeling an ad hoc study method based on their needs.

The fundamental part of my private lessons is to help the student in creating a personalized study method, which varies and is adapted according to the student's abilities and skills (underline concepts, schematize, use of colors to group categories, know how to repeat and clearly re-explain what you have learned...). I generally open the lesson by reading any book or handout with the student, underlining and highlighting the fundamental parts. Then I continue with my reworking and explanation of the topic, leaving time and opportunity for the student to ask questions where the concepts are not clear; finally, if the student deems it necessary, together with him I develop a scheme / summary / concept map. Of fundamental importance for me (especially for the older ones, since it is a skill required in the state exam) is the student develops the ability to find interdisciplinary connections, so I will often stimulate him to make connections between related subjects (eg: italian-history, philosophy-history).

If I have to move in a range of 5 km there will be a 3 euros supplement, of 10 km 5 euros supplement and 15 km 8 euros supplement.
The lesson must be cancelled at the latest the night before, otherwise a 5 euros supplement will be applied.
