About Kraven
Hi, I'm Kraven (or Kevin)! I am currently a 11th grade high school junior with a 4.0 unweighted academic GPA and trying to earn extra incomes for my family while helping my peers. I earned scores of 5 on the AP Biology and the AP Calculus AB exam in my freshman and sophomore years, respectively, I know firsthand the criteria for these courses.
This is my first tutor expereince, I'm patient, supportive, and aim to create a gradual and immersive learning environment.

I want to help my students understand concepts, not just memorizing how to solve questions, so they can actually apply what they learn. My lessons start with reviewing tricky concepts from homework or classwork, explaining them with examples, then practice problems together, and end with the student trying some on their own while I guide them. For AP course guidance, as I recently took these exact classes myself, I know the material from a student's perspective and where we usually get stuck.
Subjects I offer:
Mathematics: Middle School Math, Algebra, Geometry, and AP Calculus AB
Science: High School Biology and AP Biology
Availability:
When: Thursday through Saturday every week, after school hours (4pm-7pm), not including school breaks
Where: Online or in-person, latter is preferred. For in-person tutor, I'm happy to travel to your home or meet at a spot of your choice, like a local library or coffee shop (as long as the location is within 20 miles of me)
I tutor middle school through high school underclassmen, from those needing to build basics to those aiming for a high score on their AP exams.
