About Richard

I am a high school student with a 4.0 GPA and 30 ACT composite score. I have a history of giving private lessons to my peers, and they always leave knowing more than they knew before. I know from past experiences that a good tutor can really change how you see a subject.

About the lesson

My teaching method is for the students to provide me with certain problems they have or are going over in their classes. I will go over their problems and show them how to work the problems. I also pull some example questions to see if they are really getting it. I always make sure that the student and I have an honesty agreement, so they can always tell me if they do not understand something. I am very calm, patient, and most importantly in my opinion, motivating.

Richard has always had a knack for math. With his mom being an Administrator and his father an Algebra I teacher it came naturally. I know Richard is a capable math teacher as he has scored a perfect score on both the 8th grade gateway exam, and the College and Career Ready Algebra I test for high school students. Did I mentioned he scored a 30 on his ACT!!!
