About Josh
I have tutored high school math for 5 years focusing mainly on student-athletes who wish to improve their grades to further their athletic endeavours. As a high school student I was captain of the varsity basketball team and started my tutoring career by helping my teammates with their academics. Since then I have worked with athletes from many different sports and have had great success improving their math skills without the dread that often accompanies learning math.

As a former student-athlete I have great appreciation for the difficulties of balancing school and sports. Meeting the academic requirements for furthering a sports career can be challenging for many athletes and it’s all too common to have great players held back by academics. This is why I offer flexible scheduling as well as a more in-touch approach to learning that aims to connect with the student in a way teachers often can’t.
