About Adam

I’m an outdoors-loving, wild-swimming, bushcraft-focused mathematician — not the usual classroom stereotype. I’ve always loved the structure and clarity of mathematics, and I enjoy teaching it in a calm, confident way that makes difficult topics feel simple and manageable. I live in Suffolk, and my profile picture shows me rowing on the River Deben — with the same calm focus I bring to every mathematics lesson.

About the lesson

I’ve taught and tutored GCSE and A-level mathematics for years, consistently helping students make substantial improvements in both confidence and grades. My online sessions are highly polished — students often tell me they feel exactly like in-person lessons. I specialise in rebuilding confidence when classroom teaching hasn’t worked (whether due to poor explanation, inconsistent teaching, or behavioural disruption in school). Perfect! Very patient and upbeat. Adam is doing really well at getting my son who is a year eleven student to progress with his maths. Today in a school maths test my son achieved 90 percent. That is a very impressive improvement I can tell you!
