About Andrew
As a tutor, I understand the importance of establishing trust and confidence with students right from the start. Here is how I would present myself as a professional, legitimate, and reassuring science tutor:
My name is Andrew Arrino and I have been tutoring high school science for over 5 years. Helping students grasp complex concepts and succeed in science is my passion. I hold a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, I am fully certified as a science teacher.
My approach is to make science interactive, hands-on, and engaging. I utilize techniques like experiments, games, digital tools, and real-world examples to bring textbook principles to life. Science is not just about memorizing facts - it's about sparking curiosity through inquiry and discovery. That is why I customize lessons to align with each student's unique interests, learning style, and needs.
Over my teaching career, I have helped hundreds of students go from struggling to thriving in science class. I have consistently received rave reviews from students and parents for my ability to break down difficult concepts, boost grades and confidence, and make learning science fun. Student success is my top priority.
I promise to establish clear objectives, maintain open communication, and provide robust support. My aim is not just teaching science, but nurturing a lifelong appreciation for how the world works. I adhere to strict professionalism - you can always count on me to be punctual, prepared, and focused during our sessions.
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! I am committed to helping your student excel and find their inner scientist.

I use real world examples, demonstrations and hands on activities to make science come alive. I get students out of their seats and predicting, experimenting and discovering. I introduce a new concept through engaging demos, experiments or short videos and create hands on activities where students inquire and apply the new concept. My strength really comes from the ability to break down complex concepts using simple, everyday examples students relate to. I focus on visual aids to help reinforce any concepts and build to the student's needs.
