About Kovvie
Students may be nervous about meeting with a tutor, as is reasonable. You're vulnerable and you're learning something new.
At the same time, you're learning something new from someone who's been playing minecraft for 6 years. Someone who reads every book they can get their hands on. Someone who still burns their grilled cheese.
I also got passed my AP exams with flying colors. My teachers remember and favor me for my work ethic and dedication. I've led multiple clubs, and am about to start a charity group.
You don't have to be nervous. You probably will be anyway, which is totally fine! We can work through it together. And you'll learn some new things along the way.

To Begin:
Before I begin tutoring, I like to get to know the student. To effectively be able to teach them anything, I need to know who they are. Their interests, their strengths and struggles, how they learn best, etc
Typical Day:
If the student has any assigned work, I would start with that, after a brief catchup period --asking about their day, how was school, etc. We would go over the assignment directions and what they need to be successful in that assignment. If they need clarification on a certainsubject, we would ascertain how best to explain/model based on age, interest, and strengths
Age Range/Target Audience:
I am a senior in high school, myself. I work best with children from kindergarten to around 4th grade. I have experience teaching those grades both professionally and personally.
