About Mara
I am really good with students, though being an only child I love interacting with and teaching those younger than me. I have always found that teaching others is the best for me to understand a concept which is why I am used to tutoring. I am also very patient and can walk kids through difficult problems and concepts in the way that they can best understand.

Design a schedule to best fit the needs of those being tutored.
Taught and revised key terms and information on the topic. Can go over any other homework or classwork on the topic that the student needs. Love to help students find different ways to approach problems than what's taught in textbooks.
One of my teachers inspired me by teaching her class the skills to approach stymying-appearing math and science concepts with confidence and without anxiety. As I continued to use her techniques to help visualize problems and deconstruct them, it evolved into me becoming a tutor myself. What I find most fulfilling is being able to pass down this mindset of problem-solving without being overwhelmed.
