About Ayoka
I am a senior in high school and I have been writing creatively since I was around 7 years old. I have always loved forming stories and using my imagination to engage readers with concepts in a different way. I have a personal blog where I post my writings. I think that writing poetry and stories helped me find my place in the world and I hope to do that for those who are growing up now.

I love to write and I hope that my lessons can encourage others to have fun with the craft. I would love to start every lesson with samples of the student's work so that I can see where they are and then we will discuss their vision for the piece. Then we will edit the piece together. Finally, I will give them an assignment or prompt to write before the next tutoring session. I would like the lesson to be more about letting the students write about what they would like and polish. The lessons are for beginning writers who have found that they enjoy telling stories on a page.
