Methodology

When tutoring I find it important to establish what the student already knows and the techniqes they currently use. Afterward, I would teach multiple ways of answering a problem and finding which technique works best with the student. I believe in incorporating fun with work and I strive to create an educational, yet fun, environment.

Background

Hi, I am a senior in high school and an international baccalaureate student. I received high scores in my AP and undergraduate core courses. I currently have a 4.0 GPA. I began tutoring elementary age students 6 years ago, focusing on intermediate level writing. I also helped students prepare for the Florida State Writing Exam. The last 2 years I expanded my tutorial services to meet the needs of middle school students. Working with building writhing comphrension, expression and confidence.

Rate for online lessons : $15/h

Rate for 5 hours of lessons : $13

Rate for 10 hours of lessons : $12

Due to Covid-19, all lessons will be virtual. 24-hour cancellation has a 50% fee and any cancellation within 2 hours of start time is full price. *Emergency cases can be negotiated*
