I am a motivated high school student with a strong background in advanced mathematics, having completed AP Calculus BC and preparing for AP Statistics and AP Computer Science. As the software lead and captain of my school’s robotics team, I have developed excellent problem-solving skills and experience mentoring peers. My passion for STEM drives me to help others build confidence and succeed in their studies. My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s learning style. I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions, so I focus on building confidence along with skills. I break down complex math concepts into simple, relatable steps using analogies, visuals, and interactive examples to make the subject less intimidating and more engaging.
A typical lesson includes a brief review of previous material, a step-by-step explanation of new topics, and guided practice problems with increasing difficulty. I always leave time for questions, homework help, or a preview of upcoming content. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also truly understand the "why" behind what they're learning—so they can apply their knowledge independently.
What sets me apart is that I’m a high school student who has completed AP Calculus BC and currently leads the software team on my school’s robotics team. I understand the academic pressure students face and how to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them—because I’ve been in their shoes. My lessons are ideal for middle and high school students (grades 6–12), especially those taking Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, or AP-level math courses, who are looking for clear, relatable support from someone who truly gets it.
